Our December Wedding

My husband and I have been married for 7 months already but the memories of our wedding day is still very fresh in my mind. Maybe because it took us 1 whole year to prepare for the big day. If you'd ask me, I would want to go through it all over again...and again...and again! Though the whole wedding preparation is one roller coaster ride for me, but the end result was worth it!

Our wedding ceremony was held at Redemptorist Church last December 17, 2009. Redemptorist church for me is ideal for weddings because of its long aisle, simple architectural designs (that will compliment all wedding motifs) and because of its wide open doors, cool breeze freely flows from all sides of the church.

Our wedding reception was held at Beverly View Events Pavillion, the clubhouse was owned and operated by The Port Seafoods at Waterfront Hotel Cebu. Instead of using a gazebo, my husband and I opted for a "concert-like" set-up on the center stage. The night was filled with music, as both my husband and I are very much into music. I surprised him with a song, and well, he surprised me with his super hyper dance moves.

In my previous post, I have acknowledged the man behind all our wonderful wedding pictures, Mr. Christopher Colinares. Now I would like to acknowledge the lady who made our lovely wedding cupcake towers, Ms. Candy Tan. I met her online, at a local forum site specifically. I saw her creations from her multiply site Piece O' Cake by Cayndzz, check the photos of her cakes and other pastries, its truly mouthwatering and she's very artistic too! Because our motif was strawberry pink and chocolate brown, the inspiration of our cupcake tower was from a cherry blossom tree. There were a total of 150 cupcakes, all stacked up at 3 towers, with one round cake for cake slicing. The original plan was to distribute the cupcakes to guests as wedding souvenirs, but because our guest list increased in numbers, we have to scrap that plan.

Anyway, in my next post, I will feature the rest of our wedding suppliers. Again, if you have a favorite wedding photo in mind, please share here in my blog. Please include your reason why you chose it as your favorite wedding photo and the details of your wedding (motif, church, reception, your memorable moments in your wedding, wedding gown details, etc.). Email them to me at online.wedding.guide.incebu@gmail.com. I will post your favorite wedding photos here in my blog. If you have blogs, you can also send me the links to your blog so that I could include it when I post your favorite wedding photo.

Thank you!

Two of my favorite wedding photos

I have to say this, my husband and I are so blessed to have a friend who shoots very beautiful wedding pictures. Our wedding photographer is one of Cebu's finest in the world of wedding photography. He is Mr. Christopher Colinares. Please check his portfolio at his website Colinares Photography and Design or at his multiply and facebook sites.

Anyway, I have tons of favorites in our wedding album. This are just two of my favorite wedding photos. I chose this two because that shot of my husband makes him look more handsome and charming and my photo is beyond words - beautiful. All thanks to the skillful eye of our wedding photographer.

So, what are you waiting for, come and share your favorite wedding photos here and let us reminisce together our unforgettable wedding day.

You can email me your favorite wedding photos, your basic info, reason why you chose your favorite wedding photos and some details about your wedding. And as soon as I receive your email, I will post it in this site.
